NaamJapTracker is an informational and digital tracking utility designed to help individuals log mantra repetitions (Naam Jap), track personal targets, and view self-reported sadhana statistics. Version 1 of the Service is offered as a free-to-use digital tool without requiring user account registration.
3. Eligibility and Responsible Use
The Service is available to individuals of all ages. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the Service with the guidance of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to use the Service solely for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
4. User-Entered Information
When you choose to input custom mantras, daily targets, or feedback into the Service, you represent that such text does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, contain unlawful or defamatory content, or violate any applicable laws.
5. Naam/Japa Counter
The digital counter increments based upon user interactions (clicks, taps, or keyboard shortcuts). The counter is an electronic convenience tool and is not guaranteed to be error-free or synchronized across multiple devices unless cloud synchronization is explicitly enabled in future versions.
6. Personal Targets
Personal targets (e.g., 108, 1,008, or custom values) are set entirely at the user’s discretion. Targets serve as personal motivational benchmarks. The Service imposes no penalties or mandatory quotas for unfulfilled targets.
7. Daily History and Statistics
Daily history, streak metrics, and sadhana statistics are calculated based upon local timestamps and stored counts. Clearing your browser cache or switching devices will reset locally stored history unless you have exported a local backup.
8. Local Browser Storage
In Version 1, your Japa counts, target configurations, custom mantras, history logs, and preferences are saved exclusively in your device’s local storage (Web LocalStorage). NaamJapTracker does not maintain a copy of your personal counts on its servers. You are solely responsible for exporting or maintaining backups of your tracking data.
9. Service Availability
We strive to provide continuous, reliable access to the website. However, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of temporary downtime caused by server maintenance, network disruptions, or hosting updates.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) interfere with the security or operation of the website; (b) attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the software beyond what is permitted by applicable open-source licenses; (c) use automated scrapers, bots, or scripts that burden the hosting infrastructure; or (d) use the website to transmit malicious software or spam.
11. Intellectual Property
The website design, proprietary branding, logos, custom graphics, and software code are the intellectual property of NaamJapTracker or its licensors, protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Sacred traditional mantras and verses referenced within the application reside in the public domain or belong to their respective cultural heritage.
